my weekend is over :(

My work week starts tomorrow and I am already looking forward to my next days off! I did get a lot accomplished today (and yesterday too!) so at least I feel somewhat prepared. I cleaned a large portion of the house, including a deep clean of the kitchen. I have done about 4 loads of laundry so far... probably an equal amount to go. I made chips/taquitos, onion bread, and I am soaking some buckwheat for a nut free mediteranian bread I want to try.
I had yoga this morning. It was a pretty good class and I felt like my back did some adjusting and settling. It hasn't been giving me as many problems since my last massage and I've been doing yoga twice a week. Hopefully whatever I did to it is repairing itself...
My boyfriend took the computer with him to work today so he could get more ram installed. I am using my phone to post (hopefully it works) so no taquito pictures tonight, but hopefully after work tomorrow.
I didn't eat dinner yet... I have been eating all day, as usual, but I haven't eaten since about 4 and I don't really feel hungry. I am going to see if I can beat my night time snack attack tonight and go to bed without eating. (Well, I kinda lied, I did just have a little taste of the onion bread in the dehydrator, just to make sure it wasn't quite ready... haha) I am feeling kinda bloaty and fullish so I think I am just going to try to drink a few big glasses of water between now and bed and see if I can make it til morning.
Hope you all had a good day...

You've been busy! I need to do some cleaning and organizing myself and of course, dehydrating. :) Got some chips and almond pizza crusts "cooking" away as we speak. Type? lol!

Are the taquitos you making by the Daily Raw? If so, YUM!! Love those things. For the "cheese" we add in some mac nuts to make it even more yummy.

You'll have to report on the buckwheat bread. I attempted to make that one time but screwed up in sprouting the buckwheat so it was a no-go. But I love the original version of the mediterranean bread. :)

For the balsamic dip here's what I think my hubby did. The dressing is 1/3 c EVOO, 1/3 c balsamic vinegar, 1 tsp or so of dijon or brown mustard, 1-2 cloves fresh garlic (depending on how garlicky you like it), salt and pepper to taste...then add in pine nuts (small handful) for creaminess and then I think for the dip he added in some brazil nuts to make it thick. Very good and has that "bite." I wasn't paying attention when he was making this but I think I got it close to right! I hope. I'll have to ask him later to be sure.

You're going to be so happy when you receive your snap peas! They are so good. Yours should be even better as yours are organic. :) I'm snacking on some for my breakfast right now.

Wow, I sure did ramble on didn't I?! Have a good one!

The nut free mediteranian bread sounds good, you'll have to snap a shot and let us know how it tasted. I have a real problem of snaking all day also and then eating dinner just because it's dinner time and not becuase I'm truly hunger.
